Murchison (Uruguay) SA is a company linked to the Murchison family, forms a group of companies designed to provide logistics services in the MERCOSUR.

Since 1985, the Murchison family decided to include Uruguay in their area of operations.

Murchison (Uruguay) SA began its activities in the country as a representative of shipping routes in overseas traffic and shipping agent and then changed its activity area and started to perform port activities like stevedoring and related tasks.

In early 1997 Murchison (Uruguay) SA, aware of the importance which soon acquired the logistics in the country, decided to drift its business away from the port activity, in order to concentrate all of its resources on providing logistics services.

Murchison's vision (Uruguay) SA was confirmed by reality, because in just three years the company became a leader in its field, as a result of a strong growth of the business and customers, demonstrating the quality and reliability of its services, through its three distribution centers strategically located in Montevideo city.
